Q: How do I access i-Pathways?
A: If you have an account for the i-Pathways system, you should have an email notifying you of your Login ID and Password. Your login ID will be the email address used with your account when it was created. The password will be system generated when the account was created, but you have the option to change it to something more familiar for you. On the i-Pathways main page you will find the Login ID and Password fields to enter your information into. Once you have the correct information filled in, click the Login button.
If you have forgotten your password, there is a Forgot Password option below the login fields.
Q: What do I do if I forgot my password?
A: The i-Pathways system is able to assist you with resetting your password if you have forgotten what your current password is. Directly below the login in the upper right corner of the page is a link titled "Forgot Password?". Simply click that link and provide your email address.
Once you enter your email address into the field and hit submit, an email will be sent to you. The email will provide directions how to reset your password and get you successfully logged into i-Pathways.
Q: How do a get a student account?
A: To find an adult education program in your area, go to https://literacydirectory.org or http://www.nationalliteracydirectory.org.
Q: I am a teacher, and interested in how to get my program involved in i-Pathways. How do I get my program started?
A: If you would like more information about becoming an i-Pathways program, complete the Contact Form located on the main page. An i-Pathways team member will respond to your inquiry within 48 hours.
Q: Will i-Pathways prepare my students for any high school equivalency exam?
A: The i-Pathways curriculum is based on the Common Core Standards and includes a rigorous and relevant content. It will prepare students for the HiSET™, TASC™, and GED® assessments. To learn more about our content, contact the i-Pathways team by submitting the contact form found on the main page, or call 309-298-1804.
Users of the i-Pathways system are able to participate once they have an account regardless of your operating system (Mac® or Windows®), but there are some basic system requirements.
There are PDF documents found throughout the i-Pathways system that require a PDF Reader to view these files. Adobe Acrobat Reader is a free browser plug-ins that can be downloaded from the link below.
Many of the lesson do have sound, so speakers or headphones will be needed.
The system is designed for ease-of-use but is ideal for people who have some basic Internet knowledge. As a user, you will need to have a basic understanding of how to connect to the Internet, how to use a web browser, and be familiar with a keyboard and its functions.
